Typification according to protologue	HOLOTYPUS: Rauh et Barthlott no. 35122 (September 12, 1973) in herbario inst. bot. system. heidelbergensi (HEID) in horto botanico etiam in cultura. [English version:] HOLOTYPE: Rauh et Barthlott no. 35122 (September 12, 1973) in alcohol at the Herbarium of the Intitute for Systematic Botany of the University of Heidelberg and also living in cultivation in the botanical garden of the University of Heidelberg.
Locus classicus according to protologue	HABITAT: In ripis arduis fluminis Rio Oña prope Oña (Prov. El Oro) apud 2000 m. s. m. [English version:] HABITAT: In dry scrub vegetation at the bend of the river Oña near the willage of Oña, province of El Oro, 2200 meters.
Comments	The fix-date of Holotype (three months before the gathering date) must be an transcription error! [CNS 2012-09-05]
